FUNCTIONS OF FORESTRY PRODUCTS UTILIZATION SECTION

The role of Forest Products Utilisation section is to organise the planting, nurturing and harvesting of trees, processing and marketing of forest produce, including establishment of sales yards and pole treatment plants. The section is, among other chores challenged with the training of community interest groups on establishment and management of small cottage industries i.e. Production of treated poles and manufacture of wood products from locally planted trees.
