To carry out surveys and designs of conservation structure as prerequisite to all engineering activities.
To survey and design construction of dams for water storage to be used for livestock drinking and irrigation.
To produce a pegging guide lines for conservation structures like dams, diversion furrows, terraces, water or spill-ways in line with engineering design and specifications.
To liaise with other stakeholders to acquire detail operational information.
